Post your ad on the site by clicking on this link: BoatStop offer

BoatStop Offers

Inform the passenger of the conditions, rules to abide by as well as the contribution requested in the listing and before they board the boat
You can refuse access to your boat at any time, if you consider that this may endanger yourself, the passenger or your boat.
The contribution must remain low to be consistent with the collaborative spirit of BoatStop: convivial meetings, sharing experiences and expenses. For example, a contribution to expenses may be a participation in meals, fuel costs, …
Reply quickly to enquiries received by mail or phone
Make sure that passengers are over 18 years.
Send all the necessary details (place, date and exact time, type of clothing recommended, equipment allowed / bikes…)

Contact the boat owner directly and ask for further details.
Agree to respect the owner’s terms and conditions for safety and conduct on board.
Agree on the nature of your contribution and participation.
Be on time at meeting point : BoatStop is not a cruise, therefore you must adapt to the boat owner’s itinerary, stops and timetables .

Canalfriends.com lets you post or respond to a listing for a service or a product located within 10km of a river or canal. Listings are distributed in 5 groups:

• Accommodation

• Activity

• Event

• BoatStop

• Property and boats

How to publish a listing

1. Contact us at contact@canalfriends.com

2. Choose a suitable category and an advertising package for your listing.

3. Complete the appropriate add listing form online

4. The site is bilingual (French and English), write your listing in English or French.

5. If you want your listing to be published in both English & French, you may change languages by clicking on the relevant flag and entering the listing in the language. Alternatively, Canalfriends can translate your listing into the second language (English or French). Please see our listings translations rates.

6. Accept Canalfriends.com’s terms and conditions of sale.

7. Pay for the chosen listings package by: PayPal, bank transfer, cheque.

8. The listing is published after validation for the duration of the package, unless you delete it before its expiration date.

9. We reserve the right to remove any listing that does not respect the terms & condition of canalfriends.com

CLAIM YOUR LISTING/AD
Your business already may already be featured on Canalfriends.com. You can claim this listing/ad by following the steps below:

Contact us at contact@Canalfriends.com
Open the corresponding listing and click on ‘BUSINESS OWNER?’ and complete the pop up form.
Once verified, you will receive an email confirming you have access to the listing for editing.
You may change the listing package and modify your ad/listing.

How to find an ad

Click on the relevant menu item (accommodation, events, activities, ….) and click ”Find….”
Select an ad /listing.
Contact the advertiser from the contact details in the listing/ad.
Reserve directly with the advertiser according to his/her terms and conditions.

LISTINGS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Advertisers must not list products or services that are illegal to sell, hire or products & services that the seller does not have the authority to sell or hire.

The advertiser must possess, if necessary, an insurance policy enabling him to provide the services or products offered in his listing/ad.

The ad/listing must be made within a correct category for the product or service offered. In case of error, RIVIERE DEVELOPMENT will modify the categoryy according to the conditiions of the listing/ad package and notify the advertiser.

The site is bilingual (French and English). All adds/listiings must be in either French or English; no other language is accepted. Ads can be translated by Canalfriends .com from French to English or vice versa, under the conditions mentioned in the price list.

An ad/listing can only be published once.

For the same product or service, an old ad/listing should be deleted before inserting a new one.

An ad can not be simultaneously in multiple categories.

Advertisers offering activities and accommodation at several locations can contact canalfriends.com to study the best way to advertise & promote their ad/listing.
For ads mentioning prices, these must be quoted in euros inclusive of taxes.
